Dera Rawatsar, guest lounge
Jaipur Heritage Hotel, Jaipur
Jaipur
INTRODUCTION Jaipur Heritage Hotel, a family run boutique hotel looks smaller than it is but packs quite a punch with 18 spacious rooms and a pool. The town house of the royal family of Rawatsar has now become a special place to stay for guests from around the world. Jaipur Heritage Hotel is consistently popular with international travellers due to spacious rooms, well-trained staff and delicious Rajasthani food. Veena and Mandvi, the ladies of the Rawatsar royal family who run the show are hospitality personified.   LOCATION AND ROOMS Jaipur Heritage Hotel is a short car or tuk-tuk ride from the heritage part of the Pink city where the City Palace and Hawa Mahal are located. Since it is very close to the main bus station of the capital city, Jaipur Heritage Hotel is convenient if you are making trips out of town by bus. But the location is also the reason for a slightly higher degree of noise. If you are a light sleeper, take the upstairs rooms in Jaipur Heritage Hotel, which are quiet.   There are 3 categories of rooms, based on size of the room – deluxe, super deluxe and 2 suites. The suites are undoubtedly the best pick, with sprawling rooms and large bathrooms. But that doesn’t mean that the others are less charming in any way. Each room has air conditioning, a sofa and a writing desk. A delightful touch is the intricately embroidered Rajasthani bedspread in every room, a touch of tradition to stay connected to the culturally vibrant city of Jaipur.   SERVICES The staff at Jaipur Heritage Hotel, deserve a special mention as they are extremely helpful. Each would go the extra mile to serve the guests the best way possible. The waiters would happily help with special requests like non-spicy food. Jaipur Heritage Hotel has a wine and beer license.
