Canowindra meaning “our home” is a bright and sunny tropical villa that exudes a cheerful vibe making you feel at home immediately. This is a house meant for making the most of the Goan sun as each bedroom has a spacious terrace leading from it. The house has a small covered porch with cane chairs leading to an air conditioned sitting room with comfortable seating and an open plan kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas burner, fridge, oven, microwave and a washing machine. Ton the ground floor, there is also a double bedroom with French doors leading to a large covered terrace with a dining table and chairs. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with kingsize double beds, ensuite bathrooms and sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and cane chairs. Except for the terraces and porch, the house is fully air conditioned. Canowindra is set in a small villa complex off Candolim Main Road leading to Fort Aguada. The villa has access to a shared residents pool. Emerald View, Canowindra and Sweet Mango are a trio of villas in the same complex, convenient for large groups upto 18 persons.
Candolim beach is situated just south of the popular Calangute area but it is far more peaceful and quiet. Candolim village has more upscale hotels, shops and restaurants than the Baga-Calangute area. Well-stocked supermarkets and a variety of restaurants are easily accessible in the area making it a popular choice for Europeans on holiday.
